We had a wonderful stay at this motel situated right by a beautiful river. The location was perfect - we could hear the soothing sound of the moving water from our room. The beds were comfortable, and the spacious accommodation provided plenty of room for our family of four. We enjoyed the BBQ facilities and the opportunity to sit outside in the peaceful courtyard. The friendly service and quiet location made our stay even more enjoyable.

The kitchen equipment was slightly minimal and could have benefited from a coffee plunger.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely lodge nestled in a picturesque garden courtyard. The staff were helpful and accommodating, providing maps and advice for exploring the area. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a good-sized TV and a reliable wifi connection. I enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard, and even had the opportunity to do a barbecue with other guests. The location was great, with the Tarawera River just a few steps away for scenic walks. I highly recommend this motel for a quality and friendly experience.

I've had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. the location is fantastic, with the hotel situated on the banks of a beautiful river. It's such a peaceful and tranquil setting, with lovely leafy surroundings. Secondly, the staff have been incredibly friendly and accommodating. They've provided prompt and helpful service, making sure that everything a holidaymaker could require is available in the rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and well-equipped, with two beds and all the necessary equipment. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and a great start to the day.

Our stay was enjoyable due to the location being right across the river, perfect for walks. The property was well looked after, and cleanliness was exceptional. We appreciated the attention to detail with little extras such as cookies and music playing on arrival.

The electric blanket in one of the lounge beds didn't work, and the Netflix channel wasn't functioning. We would have preferred a four-slice toaster as we were a large family group, but we didn't ask about availability.
