Nestled in the lush forest with easy access to a stunning beach. The Tui unit was comfortable with a well-equipped kitchenette and a cozy bed. It was just a minute's walk through the enchanting forest to reach the beach, where we witnessed breathtaking sunsets and enjoyed the mesmerizing sounds of the surf. a truly amazing experience. I highly recommend this retreat.

We really got great value for our money at Te Nikau Retreat Villa. The room we stayed in, Tui, was cozy and comfortable, with a nice kitchenette and a table for dining. The location was fantastic, just a minute's walk through a beautiful forest to the beach, with stunning views of the coastline. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the area.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the rainforest and close to the coast. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering a free room upgrade and providing helpful information about the area. the cabin had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable.

The shower pressure was a bit weak, but considering the remote rainforest setting, it was understandable. It would have been nice to have mosquito nets on the windows and doors to keep out the sandflies, as they were quite bothersome.

The location of the retreat was great, with a short walk through the forest to the nearby beach. the proximity to the pancake rocks and blowholes was also a bonus. the accommodations were clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a bedroom that felt like staying in a rainforest.

the small side light in my room didn't work and the on-site shop offered limited options, mostly canned foods.

Native bush surrounds the location. 😊🌿

We stayed in a cottage close to the beach, which was a 5 minute hike through rainforest. The rainforest surroundings made it peaceful and quiet, and the bed was excellent for a fantastic night's sleep. We loved the location, with its stunning close-up view of the Punakaiki rocks and the lovely river bank walk. The drive north from the retreat was also incredibly scenic.
