Very clean room with comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and pillows. Efficient heating and hot water in spacious bathroom. Friendly and helpful host. Excellent location for Hobbiton tour. Beautiful garden to relax in.

The owner was friendly, accommodating, and provided a lift to town. Room was clean, spacious, with high ceilings. Free unlimited wifi. Nice BBQ facilities. Coffee, tea, toaster, and fridge in the room.

As a traveler heading to Hobbiton, Tower Road Motel was the perfect choice for an overnight stay. The spacious and clean room had incredibly comfortable beds. The quiet atmosphere allowed for a restful night's sleep. The well-stocked kitchen area in the studio was a convenient bonus. The layout of the motel was well-designed for multiple users. The picturesque garden area and bistro set outside each room provided a peaceful spot for relaxation. The friendly lady owner and Karen, the manager, made us feel truly welcome. a great experience run by genuinely nice people.

The location of the motel was perfect as it was close to the main attraction of the town. Plus, it was great that we didn't have to drive hours after Thanksgiving dinner. The room was reasonably clean and had all the basic amenities we needed for a short stay. We also appreciated the free parking provided for our car.

There were a few things that made our stay a bit uncomfortable. First of all, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and had a noticeable sag in the middle.

The owners of this lovely clean hotel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even dropped us off for dinner in town and gave us a tour of Christmas lights on the way back. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a delightful stay.

We had an amazing stay at a charming motel in Matamata. The location was perfect, especially for our Hobbiton tour. The garden was absolutely lovely and provided a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely go back.
