Our recent stay at this historical hotel in Cusco was absolutely delightful. As a couple on our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the upgraded room to the complimentary sparking wine, we felt truly pampered. The atmosphere of the hotel, with its stunning chapel and religious paintings, added a unique touch to our experience. The complimentary tea in the lobby and the free oxygen sent to our room were thoughtful gestures. The breakfast buffet was incredible and the room was more than we could ask for, with a luxurious bath and shower. The attentive and helpful staff made our stay memorable and enjoyable.

The building and inner courtyards were absolutely stunning. the beautiful chapel with intricate gold detail was even more impressive than the cathedrals in town. Breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the interior courtyard and the magnificent building, with the monks singing Gregorian Chants, was a truly unforgettable experience.

We found the rooms to be on the smaller side, but still well done. the mattresses were a bit soft and lumpy, and some rooms were noisy if they overlooked the front street or the Plaza.

Historical and unique buildings, central location near tourist sites and restaurants. Great breakfast with local produce. Helpful and fast staff, with additional services like shoe polish and tea.

The historic atmosphere and beautiful grounds were a highlight of our stay. the hotel's breakfast buffet was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options. Additionally, the location was perfect, with the Plaza de Armas just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and linens in our room.

There were a couple of aspects that we didn't enjoy. the interior hallways to the rooms lacked the grandness of the rest of the hotel.

Monasterio is the perfect hotel for nature lovers, as it is located near some of the best restaurants in town and offers stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. The rooms are comfortable with beautiful old paintings and a huge plasma TV. The service is excellent, with attentive staff who take care of your every need. The breakfast served in the garden courtyard is a delightful experience, despite the lukewarm coffee. Just across the square, you can find cute llamas that you can take photos with, adding to the authentic Peruvian experience.

The room size may be smaller compared to other Belmond properties.

I had the most enchanting stay at Monasterio, a truly magical hotel. The building's history as a former monastery adds an incredible air of authenticity. The original art displayed throughout the property is absolutely stunning. There is even a small church on the grounds, adding to the unique atmosphere. The location is perfect, with everything in town conveniently within walking distance. I was mesmerized by the monks chanting in the morning, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful experience. The hotel itself felt like a museum, with so much to explore and learn about. I highly recommend this incredible hotel to anyone visiting Cusco.

We loved the hotel's cleanliness, facilities, and the convenient location just off the main square. The breakfast was also excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of the city. the decor is steeped in history and charm, with delightful courtyards and alcoves to explore. the staff were helpful and courteous, with complimentary drinks and snacks on our arrival and check-in process was seamless. the hotel's bar had an excellent range of drinks and the bar snacks were delicious.

The room design was cluttered with unnecessary hotel paraphernalia. There were few surfaces available to put our own items on and with ceramic vases and soap dishes it was difficult to avoid them.

A luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of an ancient city, this hotel offers exclusive amenities that cater to a discerning traveler. the spa & wellness center and the garden area are well, appointed, and provide a tranquil escape from the bustling city outside. the private facilities are impeccable, and the in, room breakfast is a delicious indulgence. the restaurant serves up delectable dishes and the special diet menus are exceptional.

They even offered me a lovely room upgrade, which I appreciated. The historical courtyard was a delightful place for a drink or breakfast. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious. The hotel's location was perfect - close to Plaza de Armas and surrounded by interesting historic buildings. The friendly locals and their llamas added to the wonderful atmosphere. a fantastic experience!
