Located at the base of the final ascent to Lake Humantay, we had an early start and enjoyed being one of the first hikers there. the cozy cabanas offered spectacular views of Humantay and Salkantay, perfect for stargazing through the glass ceiling. the staff was friendly, with Alejandra always smiling and welcoming guests warmly.

During our Christmas stay, the lack of warm water made the cold weather uncomfortable. Despite the freezing temperatures, the staff refused to provide extra hot water for guests to warm up, which was disappointing.

Exciting location near the Lago Humantay trail with stunning views. We enjoyed convenient lunch options with delicious sandwiches. Warm welcome with tea/coffee made the stay cozy. Although, discomfort with lack of hot water in the shower. Overall I suggest this hotel.

We stayed at Soraypampa Hostel for our trek to Lago Humantay and Salkantay. the location is superb, right by the trail with stunning views. the cozy bungalows were clean, and the food, although not the best, was convenient. Friendly staff, great dinner, and breakfast. The warm welcome with tea and coffee set a pleasant tone for our stay. Cons: Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
