We recently stayed at El Gordo's for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is unique, nestled between rocks and right by the sea, offering a beautiful view from the front terrace. The ten-minute walk to the town allows you to experience local life and escape the hustle and bustle. The hosts, Gordon and Christina, were welcoming and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The tours they offer are amazing, especially the overnight kayaking tour, and the food was delicious. The free tea, coffee, and biscuits were a nice touch.

The location was perfect – just a short walk from the bustling center but situated in a more local and relaxed area. The walk to the hotel was enjoyable and the locals were incredibly kind. The dorm room was spacious and had plenty of storage space. The bathroom and shower area were great. The best part was the complimentary purified water, coffee, tea, and delicious cookies available all day. I would highly recommend staying here and I can't wait to come back!

the location was perfect - tucked away from the busy streets of El Nido, allowing us to experience the warmth and friendliness of the local people. the guesthouse was clean and offered stunning views, especially during sunrise on the balcony. Gordon, the host, was incredibly kind and assisted us with everything we needed, from renting kayaks to organizing tours. the other staff members, Marilyn and Esi, made our mornings special with their delicious breakfast. the atmosphere here was amazing, and we felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our entire trip. We are already planning to return later this year!

The wooden deck overlooking El Nido Bay was perfect for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We had a great time exploring the nearby beaches on kayaks and trying out stand-up paddleboarding. The lodge also arranged an amazing island tour, complete with transportation, making our trip hassle-free. It was a wonderful adventure for the whole family!

My wife says that it would have been even better if there were more kid-friendly activities available at the lodge.

The wifi signal in El Nido was quite weak, so uploading photos was a challenge. the room we booked didn't match the pictures and lacked the promised sofa bed.
