Hiraya Surf, as it is called, provided a great atmosphere with friendly staff and plenty of activities to book. the facilities were always clean and there was a relaxed vibe throughout the hostel. the staff were so helpful, offering tips and organizing tours and rental services like mopeds. They even had surfing instructors who took guests out for early morning sessions at a reasonable price. I also enjoyed the weekly family dinner, which was a must-do experience. I highly recommend staying here if you want a chilled-out, yet fun-filled time.

The hostel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the dorms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a cozy environment to rest after a long day. Secondly, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist me with any queries or concerns. The location was ideal, being close to popular attractions and restaurants. Moreover, the hostel offered a variety of activities such as island hopping and surf lessons, making it easy to plan and enjoy my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the convenience of the café, with its delicious and reasonably-priced food.

Although my overall experience was positive, there were a few aspects that could be improved. the kitchen was under construction during my stay, which meant that I had to go out for meals instead of cooking my own food.

The location of the accommodation can be a bit inconvenient due to the rough road leading up to it. Some guests have mentioned that it can be difficult to drive on the rocky path, especially during rainy weather. However, the staff has assured that they will be working on fixing this issue in the near future. Despite this, the hostel is conveniently situated near Cloud 9, which is only a 10-minute walk away. the spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds and lockers provide a comfortable stay.

One setback that some guests have mentioned is the lack of fans in the dorm rooms. During the island's power outages, the air conditioning had to work extra hard to cool the large dorms.

We had an incredible stay at a hostel in Siargao that we highly recommend. the atmosphere was laid back and everyone knew how to enjoy themselves without disturbing others. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We loved the clean and modern facilities, as well as the organized day trips and parties that were available to join. the small size of the hostel made it easy to meet new people and make friends. it was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to come back.
