The resort is located in a great quiet location away from the noisy area, but still close enough to visit Alona Beach in just 10 minutes by trike. There are nearby shops and eateries for convenience. The staff at the resort are friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. The pool area is nice and clean, and they offer free towels for guests to use. The cottages/huts provide lots of space and some even have a skylight for a nice touch.

The limited dishes offered in their restaurant need some improvement. Their menu could use a makeover to provide more variety and options for guests.

We had a great experience at Chocolate Hills Resort. the breakfast options were basic, but there were no vegan options available. we enjoyed the rice with fish sauce and vinegar. the pool and waterfall were delightful, and the eating area provided nice shade. the beds had comfortable, firm mattresses. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable wine, which was cheaper than juice. While some of the staff were not as helpful, there were others who were very friendly and accommodating. Our upgraded room was funky and clean, with towels provided and good air conditioning. It was spacious and had a comfortable bed.

the beach was nicer than alona beach, cleaner and more private, with a lovely bar area and good breakfast. the location was great, with nearby shops and eateries, and it was close to white beach. the staff were polite and the architecture was impressive.

Toilets were not clean and there were water leaks.

Spent Christmas at this resort and had a great time. the breakfast had a good variety and the pool was clean. the location was convenient, close to restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. We also appreciated the shuttle service to and from the beach.

The walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms, making it difficult to sleep at night. the staff seemed unorganized and sometimes charged unexpected fees.

The friendly staff at Chocolate Hills Resort always had a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The complimentary breakfast provided a great start to the day, with delicious Filipino options. The pool table was in excellent condition and the swimming pool was well-maintained.

Despite some minor issues like the recycled sea water for showers and occasional Wi-Fi connectivity problems, we would still choose to stay at Chocolate Hills Resort again. we had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The location of this hotel is ideal, as it is very close to the beach and just a short walk away from the best beach on Panglao island, which is much better than Alona beach. The service provided by the staff at this hotel is excellent, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The basic amenities in the rooms, including the bathroom and breakfast, are all satisfactory.
