I must say, the value for money at Casa Vela was impressive. Our room was bright, modern, and had a lovely view of the pool from the balcony. The location was super central yet surrounded by a paradise-like garden. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late at night.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with less noise and coughing from other guests.

Nestled in a lovely quiet residential area, this boutique hotel offers a peaceful retreat. Not to underestimate how gorgeous the gardens were; they provide a lovely backdrop for a leisurely breakfast or afternoon dip in one of the pools. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, providing good views of the surroundings. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the appeal of this upscale hotel.

Parking can be an issue with only street parking available and the absence of any pay-by-phone option.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is situated in a quiet residential area but still within walking distance to the city center. You can enjoy the tranquility of the gardens, which are located just above a little pond and shaded by citrus trees. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered is extensive and excellent, with a variety of options to choose from.

There is a lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which can be uncomfortable, especially during hot weather.

the shower was not properly sealed, which caused puddles of water to form after each use.

I recently stayed at Casa Vela in Cascais for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide range of options and served until noon. The coffee machine was available 24/7, and they even had cake in the evening. The location was perfect, being both quiet and peaceful while still just a short walk from the town. I loved the lovely and secluded garden areas where you could relax and read or play cards. The pool area was also stunning, and they even had a welcome drink and an honesty bar. The room was well-designed and had a fridge, and the staff were exceptional, with the manager going out of their way to recommend local places to visit. a superb stay that I highly recommend.

Our room was fantastic and the gardens were stunning! Although the bikes for rental were poor quality and overpriced, the pool and breakfast more than made up for it. we highly recommend a stay at Casa Vela Boutique.

What an amazing place! Loved all of it! Extremely dog friendly, we were allowed to bring our dog into the communal areas. Walking distance from the town and marina. Staff were amazing. We had a long drive so very much appreciated the “honesty bar” and sitting in the huge gardens for a few hours enjoying the scenery. Beds extremely comfortable and the room and balcony were a good size.

Not a big thing but the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable - the door didn't slide properly so the floor got wet, and the rack for shampoo/soap also got in the way of the door. the movement sensor didn't work in the shower, so the light would turn off every time while showering.
