The location of the hotel was superb, with it being just a 15-minute walk to the river. The view from the room was absolutely stunning, providing a great sight of the Douro river and the famous bridge. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the free parking right in front of the hotel was a major advantage.

The bathroom doors weren't closing properly, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The apartment's location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. It is clean and has a stunning view. The apartment is well-equipped and the management offers shuttle services. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing useful information about local amenities. The complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch.

The apartment was clean and spacious, with a nice layout, just like in the pictures. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and the waterfront. the secure entry provided a sense of safety. having an iron and ironing board in the apartment was a useful amenity.

One of the drawbacks of the apartment was that there was a nearby cafe/bar that was quite noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep until late hours. Another inconvenience was the lack of provided soap for the shower, which was unexpected for a rental property.

The value for money at the hotel was excellent, with a beautiful and spacious room that had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the city and top attractions but still in a quiet area. The staff, especially Fabio, were incredibly helpful and welcoming, even gifting us a bottle of wine upon arrival.

Breakfast choices could be improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Our stay at Fontainhas River Residence was lit! It was like living in a pirate movie! The tour was wild and we got to see the city from a whole new perspective. Definitely a vibe for us young party-goers!

The only thing that could have made our stay even more epic would be if the hotel had organized some fun party events for young people like us. It would have been off the charts to have a killer party night with other guests our age.

We had a great experience at the river view apartment at FRR. the location was perfect, with all of the top attractions within walking distance. the apartment itself was modern, well-equipped, and located in a historic building. the view of the Douro River was stunning, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light. We especially loved the facilities, including the kitchenware and the Nespresso Dolce Gusto coffee machine. a fantastic stay and we would definitely choose FRR again.

Almost perfect, but the St Joao festival made for a noisy night. 🎉
