Some guests mentioned that the open-plan bathroom design lacked privacy, which could be uncomfortable for certain travelers.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Marquez de Pombal, making it easy to access the Hop On/Off buses that start there. The room I stayed in had a large bathroom area with glass walls into the sleeping area, creating a modern and spacious feel. The service provided by the reception staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options to choose from.

The hotel staff overlooked my wife's birthday and didn't acknowledge it, which was a disappointment considering the usual attentiveness of 5-star hotels.

Our stay at Iberostar was definitely worth the money. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel had a pleasant smell throughout. The staff went above and beyond to treat us with respect and kindness, making our stay truly special. From the receptionists to the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Plus, the location was convenient for exploring the city.

The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering more variety.

The hotel had two complementary drinks in the room and unlimited coffee in the lobby which I enjoyed. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to transportation and attractions which made it easy to go exploring. Another advantage was the wonderful bar with great staff that added fun to the New Year's celebrations.

The constant overpowering smell of perfume in the lobby made me feel quite uncomfortable and it wasn't pleasant to be around. I also noticed that the rooms lacked block out curtains which made it difficult to get a good sleep in the morning when it became too bright.

The room was nice and spacious, with fantastic daily cleaning. The outdoor pool was lovely for relaxing after a day of walking the city hills. The hotel had a nice ambiance.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until we checked out, they were attentive to our every need and always one step ahead. They had a keen eye for detail and showed great respect. The room maid kept our room spotless, even when we didn't put the cleaning card outside. The restaurant staff were also very kind, with one server even anticipating when we needed more coffee. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with easy access to transportation and attractions. The pool was a great addition and provided a refreshing break from the city heat. the staff, cleanliness, and location made our Easter stay unforgettable.

The only downside we experienced was the expense of the food and drinks at the hotel. Compared to the rest of the city, they seemed overpriced.

We had a splendid time at this hotel. The room was spacious and had exclusive amenities, adding a luxurious touch to our stay. The Spa & Wellness Centre exceeded our expectations with a variety of treatments and a helpful staff. The indoor swimming pool was well-maintained, as well as the sauna and steam room. The sun terrace was a lovely touch, with sun loungers and beach umbrellas at our disposal. The restaurant and snack bar had a delicious buffet breakfast, while the bar/lounge area served excellent drinks. The staff was exceptional and always went above and beyond to cater to our needs.

We encountered only one minor issue during our stay. The seasonal outdoor pool could have had more sun loungers available, as the ones provided were limited.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The use of technology, including the free mobile telephone with useful apps, was impressive. The property was exceptionally clean, grand, and beautifully presented. The facilities were fantastic, and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room had chrome cast, which was a great feature after a busy day exploring the city. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The location was great, close to shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as easy access to the metro. I highly recommend staying at Iberostar Selection.
