Man, the brekkie is unreal—like, a proper feast with everything you could think of. And the room? Nice and spacious, felt like home with a proper comfy bed, which is a must after a day exploring. The staff were so lekker, always keen to help and make you feel at home.

But the pool was colder than I expected—eina! Could've been a lekker spot if it wasn't so freezing during winter.

The air conditioning didn’t cool the room adequately, leaving us uncomfortable during the high 30s heat. Additionally, the tea and coffee facilities in the room were quite limited. charging for extra teas and coffees felt unwarranted in a four-star hotel. Overall, there were several aspects that fell short of our expectations.

The location is spectacular, right in the heart of the old town, near the castle and churches! The pool is fantastic, and breakfast offers an excellent variety of local foods.

Service at the dining areas can be inconsistent, making it difficult to fully enjoy meals. Additionally, some minor maintenance issues in rooms were noticeable during the stay.

The pool area was serene with beautiful surroundings, and the rooms were spacious with comfy beds. Also enjoyed the historical charm! It felt like a hidden gem.

I caught up on reading while sipping cocktails. My only concern was about the meal time. we had to wait too long for dinner. I had a great time relaxing here. Being from Rome, I valued the quiet moments amidst historical charm.

My only suggestion would be to improve the pool temperature, it was a bit brisk for my liking. Also, the breakfast chairs made a distracting noise while dining outdoors.

Great location near the old castle , and just a short walk to the town. Very clean , and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast is a feast for the eyes with rich selection.
