I had a fantastic stay at this riverside inn! the cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were impressive. the location close to restaurants was ideal, allowing easy access to delicious dining options. Additionally, the breakfast provided was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Cons: Couldn't have been happier.

Our stay at Dockside was fantastic! We stayed for a week to explore Savannah, Jekyll Island, and St Simon Islands. the room size and deck were unexpectedly spacious. the location was perfect for attending "Blessing of the Fleet" activities and walking to local spots. Enjoying breakfast at the nearby coffee shop with complimentary options added to our delightful experience. the back deck view of the river and interactions with fellow guests made our stay memorable.

The location couldn't have been better - just a short walk to the docks and river. Plus, there's a fantastic wine bar just half a block away where you can enjoy a glass of wine or pick up a bottle to take with you. The rooms are spacious, with large decks where you can relax and soak in the local atmosphere. The breakfast provided by the inn is absolutely delicious, a perfect way to start the day.

The walls seem to be quite thin, making it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms.

We loved the location of Dockside Inn, it was perfect for us as youngsters. We could easily walk to the docks and the river. The proximity to Skippers Fish Camp was a huge plus, as we enjoyed delicious meals and cocktails there. The town of Darien itself was charming, and we had a great time exploring the local flavor. The Inn and the restaurant were both excellent choices.

There was also a great little wine bar just half a block away where I could sip a glass or two and even pick out a bottle to take home. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return in the future.

Although my stay at Dockside Inn was great overall, there were a few minor drawbacks. The communication about the self check-in process was a bit unclear initially, causing some confusion.
