Quinta Nova Winery House - Relais & Chateaux is one of the most beautiful locations for a hotel. Nestled in the stunning Douro Valley, surrounded by vineyards on steep slopes, the view is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers transfers to and from Ferrao train station, which is just a 5-minute ride down the hill. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer a nice outlook over the terrace and vineyards. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxation.

The price for dinner and drinks seems to be a bit steep according to some reviews.

Best views ever! the hotel is located in an amazing spot with mind-blowing views. Infinity pool was really cool and staff was attentive and helpful. the room was comfortable and clean. the tour around the production site is highly recommended, and food was simply delicious. A great advantage was the countless walking routes available to enjoy the great outdoors.

Worst guided tasting ever, as the staff wasn't approachable and didn't share any unique insights. Wine prices are high, and restaurant prices even worse.

the breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape from the outdoor swimming pool was amazing. We couldn't resist taking a dip on the sun loungers or just relax on the sun terrace. the attentive staff made sure we were comfortable in the leisure room that was equipped with modern facilities along with the specialty bar/lounge area that served delicious snacks and cocktails.

Our only minor issue was the limited vegetarian options on the restaurant's special diet menu. the chef went out of his way to accommodate our needs and create a personalized dish.

I had a wonderful stay at Quinta Nova Winery House. The location in the Douro Valley was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the vineyards. The food was good overall, although there is room for improvement in the restaurant. The wine list was impressive, and I highly recommend trying the Aeternus and Mirabilis wines. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Quinta Nova Winery House for a two-night stay to experience the beauty of the Douro Valley and indulge in good food, wine, and views.
