We enjoyed the beautiful countryside and serene environment of our stay. The bicycle rides and walks were a pleasant way to explore the area. The restaurant provided a delicious and fresh breakfast, and we were pleased with the farm-to-table mission. the hotel offered complementary activities for guests to enjoy.

We found that the air-conditioning was a complete disaster and that the pool was not adequately deep. The prices for drinks in the pool area were steep for a countryside location, which was also a downside.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this property! The architecture and interior design were spectacular, creating a simple yet impressive atmosphere. Our deluxe Farm Room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large bathroom and private terrace. The breakfast was divine, with a spectacular view of the farm and beautiful gardens. The peaceful and calm surroundings made it a must-visit destination. The staff were fantastic, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy, from biking and horseback riding to swimming and tea time. We loved every moment and would visit again and again!

When I had a special request, the manager went out of her way to assist me and ensure everything was set right. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this stunning property. The spacious cottage, friendly staff, great food, and wine exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed for our baby was provided, and there was plenty of space in the garden to play without disturbing other guests. The Herdade is lovely, with attentive staff and comfortable rooms. The swimming pools are integrated into the natural surroundings, and the sunset dinner at Hortelão was a truly summer experience. We also enjoyed seeing the horses and foxes on the estate.
