We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities, including the pool and bar, had an amazing atmosphere. The location was perfect, right next to the train station in the middle of this city, making it easy to explore the beautiful Douro region and visit the vineyards for port tasting. The breakfast provided a wide variety of options and was served on a beautiful terrace with breathtaking views. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, assisting us with arranging taxis and showing us around the hotel.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really enjoyed the elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the natural beauty of the Douro Valley. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to several wineries and a convenient walk along the river for a relaxing cruise. The staff was also very helpful and made all the necessary arrangements for our activities.

There was one aspect that detracted from our experience. Upon arrival, we had to wait for quite a while before being allowed to check-in.
