The staff at Torel Avantgarde went above and beyond to make our stay special. From the warm welcome with champagne and treats to the room upgrade, they made us feel like VIPs. The poolside was a relaxing oasis, and the views from the hotel were breathtaking. The location in the old town was perfect, close to attractions and the river. The hotel truly lived up to its boutique 5-star status.

While our room at Torel Avantgarde was elegant and comfortable, I found it a bit dark and lacking proper lighting. The bathroom, although modern in design, lacked privacy with its large glass pane.

I was lucky to stay in the spacious and stylish Andy Warhol Suite with impressive amenities and high-quality finishings. The pool and view were breathtaking. The staff, especially Francisca, were attentive and personal. I recommend this hotel.

As a group of friends, we loved the amazing views of the river from our room's balcony and pool. The small but lovely pool deck was great for relaxing. The restaurant terrace offered fantastic views. The hotel staff was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. The elegant decor throughout the hotel was breathtaking.

The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient, requiring a bit of a walk to reach the nearest coffee shop and situated on a steep hill. some services were limited and the staff seemed a bit inefficient at times.

The breakfast offered exceptional food, and the toiletries in the rooms were of high quality. The view was breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to forget we were in a busy city.

Great start to the new year! We were surprised with two complimentary drinks upon our early arrival. the location was perfect - within walking distance to many restaurants and with stunning views of the river. the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. We enjoyed the stylish and unique decor of the hotel.

The bathroom layout in our room was not ideal and could be improved. the carpet in the hallway seemed to be bunched up and could be a tripping hazard.

This hotel is a luxurious and stylish venue, with exclusive amenities that cater to every need. the service is impeccable and staff attention to detail is second to none. the Spa & wellness centre offers a full range of treatments, including body scrub, massage, facial, waxing, manicure and pedicure.

The only minor issue we experienced was with the public bath, where there was a small deficiency in cleanliness standards. this was quickly resolved by the staff, who ensured that the facilities were properly sanitized.

We started our Portugal trip in Porto and Torel Avantgarde was our favorite hotel of the stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, helping us plan our day and showing us the best walking routes on a map. The decor was great, the views were incredible, and the wifi was reliable. The shower had great water strength, which was a detail that mattered to me. The quality of the food was also excellent.

The hotel is located in a prime area, only a 5-minute walk to the old town and all the main sights. The room was clean, luxurious, and offered a unique art theme. The highly professional staff were always at our disposal, and the breakfast and welcome drink were nice touches. The facilities were top-notch, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking.

The sound insulation could be improved, as we could hear the TV from the next room.
