the hostel is truly heaven on earth. the location is central and convenient, and the hostel itself is gorgeous with a colonial touch to the decor. the high ceilings and tropical breeze make it a truly delightful place to stay. the staff, especially Angelica and Carlos, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Carlos even helped me plan my trip to Culebra and drove me to Ceiba for my ferry. I am so grateful for their hospitality. I also enjoyed meeting other solo travelers and had amazing conversations with them. I would highly recommend Fortel for its unbeatable location, beautiful accommodations, and the best staff.

The location of the hostel was fantastic! It was within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and local attractions. I loved being able to easily explore the city and have everything I needed close by. Additionally, the hostel was extremely secure with locks on both the outside door and the individual rooms. I felt safe and at ease during my stay.

The lack of an elevator. This could pose a challenge for older individuals or those with mobility issues, especially when carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local places to visit. The location was also very convenient, with everything I wanted to see and do within walking distance. the hotel facilities were well-maintained and clean, making for a pleasant stay.

The slow WiFi, which may not be ideal for streaming. Another issue was the lack of an elevator, which could make it difficult for older guests or those with mobility issues to navigate the stairs.

The staff at Fortel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure I had a smooth check-in, even though I arrived late at night. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from all the major attractions. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated that they offered coffee. my stay at Fortel was enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it to others.

In terms of drawbacks, there were a few minor issues. The wifi in the rooms wasn't the best, and the lack of ensuite bathrooms meant that the toilets were a bit of a distance from the rooms.

the receptionist was incredibly charming and made me feel welcome. the rooms were comfortable, with working A/C and a reliable wifi connection. the hostel was quiet and clean, and the beds were comfortable. the staff was helpful and provided excellent suggestions for things to do in the area. it was a great value for the price and I would definitely consider staying there again for a couple of nights.
