I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse in Isla Culebra. My purpose of travel was to relax and explore the island. The Palmetto Guesthouse was perfect for my needs. The delicious breakfast cake and complimentary coffee were a great way to start the day. The beautiful garden and backyard provided a peaceful oasis for sitting and chilling. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to show us important locations on a map of the island. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and the big bathroom was a plus. The kitchen was well-equipped for guest use, and the WiFi was reliable. I also appreciated the option to rent top-quality snorkeling gear for a reasonable price. The location was convenient, with the airport, car rental, and a supermarket all nearby. While not in the center of town, it was easy to get to Tamarindo or Flamenco Beach.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Palmetto Guesthouse was exceptional! We felt like we were at home with Kate and Jack's warm hospitality. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The backyard was like a little garden of paradise, perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee surrounded by exotic fruit bushes and lime plants. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the airport, car rental, and grocery store. Plus, we loved being able to borrow beach equipment like snorkels and chairs – it made our beach trips even more enjoyable. great value for our money, great room, great location, and amazing staff.

The morning meal could have been better.

I had a wonderful stay at Palmetto Guesthouse. The room was tidy and cozy, and I loved having my own kitchen to prepare breakfast. The location was perfect, with the market and car rental options just a short walk away. The owner, Shane, was incredibly friendly and even treated us to delicious cupcakes in the morning. The selection of board games and DVDs kept us entertained, and their fluffy puppy, Papi, was an added bonus. The beaches of Flamenco and Soni were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a delightful vacation experience.

I visited Isla Culebra for a weekend getaway and the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome. They gave me great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, and even let me keep the room key on the day of check out. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, and the air conditioner worked well. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the airport and close to a supermarket and jeep rentals. The peaceful garden in the back was a lovely place to relax, and the daily fresh-baked breakfast goods were a delightful touch.

What a delightful guest house! Our stay at Palmetto was absolutely wonderful. Kate, our host, was incredibly kind and helpful. The house itself is charming, tastefully decorated, and provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Renting a golf cart from the nearby golf place was a breeze, making it easy to explore the beautiful Playa Flamenco. We loved every moment of our stay and would definitely return. Thank you, Kate, for your incredible hospitality!
