The attention to detail in the accommodations was exceptional. Everything I needed was right there, from a comfy bed to a well-equipped kitchen. I especially loved the personal braai in my private garden. The staff was friendly and provided helpful suggestions for exploring the area. Despite a minor disappointment with the lack of views from my room, I still highly recommend this retreat. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at A Hilltop Country Retreat. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved being able to use the braai on our private terrace. The host was friendly and provided us with great tips for exploring the area. We only wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

our one night stay in swellendam was lovely, but our recent stay at a charming and comfortable b&b exceeded all expectations. the owner warmly welcomed us and gave great tips for dining. the beautifully decorated house and comfortable beds made us feel cozy and at home.

I recently had a spontaneous weekend getaway and booked a room at Hilltop Country Retreat. The spacious room, complete with a cozy fireplace, exceeded my expectations. I loved the small touches like having the BBQ reset for us each day and not having to do any washing up. Jane, the friendly and helpful hostess, took excellent care of us. It was a truly pleasant and value-for-money stay.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to help. They even went above and beyond by providing us with unexpected extras, including a delicious port. The hotel itself was beautifully presented with a simple and chic design. The room was well-equipped and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, especially for hiking in the nearby nature reserve. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and friendly staff made for an excellent experience.

Could not be improved in any way.
