During our one month holiday around Southern Africa, we stayed at a tranquil historic guest house in a quiet suburb. The room, located in the garden, was well appointed and had a view of the pool. The breakfast was excellent, with both continental and cooked options. The guest house was conveniently located a few minutes walk from the city center, offering great restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities.

The airport transfer service was not reliable, causing us stress and making us late for our flight.

Lovely B&B centrally located near university and restaurants. Charming old architecture with well-kept rooms. Breakfast served in a cozy room with a roaring log fire. Great value for money.

I had such a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel! The location couldn't have been more perfect, right in the heart of town. I loved being able to walk to all the amazing restaurants and wine bars in just a few minutes. Plus, being across from the botanical gardens was such a treat! The hotel itself had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and a lovely poolside area. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I even received great tips and recommendations for vineyard trips, and they helped arrange everything for me. this place exceeded all my expectations and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

This place is simply amazing! I can't think of a single reason why anyone wouldn't want to stay here.

The location was very central and convenient for catching an Uber. The rooms were clean and lovely, with beautiful furnishings and decor. The gardens were also beautiful. The staff, particularly Marli, were very hospitable and the kitchen staff were extremely friendly. I would highly recommend Bonne Esperanse to all my friends.

Felt at home, nothing was too much trouble.

The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. the staff was helpful and provided us with a complementary bottle of champagne and some chocolates which were a nice touch. the hotel location was quite convenient with several eateries and shops nearby.

The worst aspect was the noise level at night. the hotel seemed to be near a noisy road, and the noise from the traffic disturbed our sleep.

The hotel's architecture and garden were absolutely stunning, creating a beautiful and serene atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, as it was easy for me to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. the fact that the hotel had a power bank and flashlight provided peace of mind during the occasional electricity blackouts.

There were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. the coffee provided at breakfast could have been better, as it lacked the quality I expected.

I absolutely loved the style of the newly renovated rooms at Bonne Esperance. The pictures online don't do justice to the beautiful design. The staff was incredibly helpful, organizing tours and dinner reservations with a warm welcome. The location is great, and the breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. I highly recommend this guest house.

The Annex building is conveniently located across from the entrance to the botanical gardens, with a cafe nearby and shops and eateries just a 5-minute walk away. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well-appointed with a kitchenette. Perfect for bigger groups of friends!
