The view is beautiful. I felt like I was on top of the world, overlooking Ladysmith from the stunning garden area. the staff, particularly Chay and the morning shift lady, were darlings - welcoming and warm, making my stay memorable.

The accommodation at this hotel was just amazing - beautifully decorated and private. the staff here are super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out. the views from the deck are stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. the beds were like sleeping on clouds, and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean thanks to the housekeeping team. the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from in the lovely dining room overlooking Ladysmith.

One improvement could be to enhance the lost item retrieval process. Perhaps the staff could follow up more promptly in case guests leave valuables behind, ensuring a smoother and more efficient resolution process.

I had a fantastic stay at a guest lodge in Ladysmith. The family room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The property had a secure enclosed area, allowing my children to freely run around. The view from the lodge was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The homemade food served for dinner was one of the best meals I had during my entire trip. The hotel had a bar and reading room, perfect for history enthusiasts and those who enjoy a drink. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel on top of a hill provided a stunning view of the surrounding area.

I lost my fancy perfume at the lodge—still waiting for a call. the room had a bed conundrum with spiders, yikes! But, the staff, especially Chay and the morning lady, were gems. Kudos for the spotless rooms and beautiful views. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peaceful vibe. Wi-Fi, perfect. Can't forget the clean pool—would dive in again.

I had an absolutely stunning stay at a guest lodge overlooking Ladysmith. The room I stayed in was breathtaking, with a balcony offering panoramic views of the town. The free-standing bath and the comfortable bed made for a truly luxurious experience. I also loved the concept of the Honestly Bar, where I spent enjoyable evenings. The attentive staff and superb breakfast added to the overall charm of the lodge. The peaceful location, surrounded by nature and birdlife, was a treat for the eyes and ears. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable stay.

The breakfasts were delicious and I enjoyed them thoroughly. The dining room had an interesting historical touch with General Sir Redvers Buller's portrait staring at me. The headlines on either side of the mantel-piece mirror were also intriguing. the hotel arranged for me to be driven to a fantastic local restaurant when they didn't serve dinner on Sunday evening.

We had to wait outside for around 20 minutes, pushing the buzzer and calling the office with no response. Eventually, we had to climb on the outside wall to get someone's attention.

Easy check-in process and helpful staff, Linda provided all necessary information. Excellent and plentiful dinner, Graham was a very attentive host. Great breakfast with a variety of options. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely dining room and great views. Convenient location for sightseeing around the Battlefields route and Drakensberg Range. Friendly and professional management team

Felt like visiting family, nothing was too much trouble

We had a fantastic stay at Buller's Rest! The room was stunning, with a great view of the city. The free-standing bath and comfortable bed made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we loved the concept of the honesty bar. The food was delicious, and the packed breakfast they provided for our early departure was a nice touch. The WiFi was excellent, and the overall value for money was outstanding!
