The Admiralty Bar is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink, surrounded by models and artwork that make you feel like you're on a ship. The lounge area is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.

The Commodore is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff is friendly and attentive, particularly Gadija who was amazing with the little ones. The room service is good and the gym is nice. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the V&A Waterfront. The recently renovated hotel has a charming maritime vibe and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the Wi-Fi reception is good.

I recently returned to Commodore after a few years for a holiday. The traditional style hotel has friendly, efficient staff and a quiet courtyard with a pool. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast had a wide selection and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is centrally located and has beautiful decor with a nautical theme. The bar/lounge was cozy and the wifi was reliable.

Would recommend this hotel.

Walls might be a bit thin, could hear a noisy neighbor. Reception could be more helpful and friendly, had to wait for the room.

Loved the convenient location, just a short walk from the vibrant waterfront area with plenty of shops and dining options. The hotel had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, making our romantic escape hassle-free. It was great to have both Nobel Square and the Robben Island Ferry Terminal within walking distance, allowing us to explore and enjoy the local attractions easily.

We found the rooms to be a bit dated and could use some renovation to match the lovely public areas of the hotel. The service was generally good, but we did encounter some issues with the internet and a broken USB port in our room, which affected our overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with a safe and easy 5-minute walk to the V & A Waterfront. We loved being right across from the Victoria & Albert dockside mall area, it made shopping and dining so convenient. The staff provided exceptional personal service, and we were impressed with their attentiveness and politeness. Our room had a stunning view of Table Mountain and the waterfront, which was a real treat. The breakfast at the hotel was top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious options. the location, service, and breakfast made our stay here unforgettable.

The location of this hotel was amazing, so close to the V&A Waterfront without being overwhelmed by the craziness. The hotel facilities were great, including a nice gym and good room service. We just had a fantastic Easter weekend! The location was just perfect and we felt really safe walking around the area. We loved the fact that we could walk only a couple of minutes to get to some of the best sights and attractions. The hotel was really clean and quiet, and we had a great time relaxing in the well-appointed room. we enjoyed the amazing massages and delicious meals at the restaurant.

Despite the lovely Easter weekend experience, we were disappointed by the service at this hotel. On one of the nights, we received a note under our door asking us to pay for our room expenses, even though we had pre-paid for our stay.

The hotel is located close to the V&A Waterfront, making it extremely convenient for exploring all of Cape Town's main attractions. The rooms offer incredible views of Table Mountain and the cityscape. The service is top-notch and the breakfast selection is varied and delicious. The hotel facilities, such as the bar and restaurant, create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.

The noise insulation of the room doors could be improved, as it was possible to hear noise from other guests in the hallway.
