During my stay at Fairy Knowe, I had a room with direct access to the river which offered a breathtaking view. It was a tranquil and picturesque spot, filled with abundant birdlife and fish in the river. The fact that they provided free kayaks allowed me to explore the river further, immersing myself in the beauty of the national park. The room itself was clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay at a charming hotel with a stunning location along the Garden Route. Our cottage was right on the river, offering breathtaking views that added to the overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met at all times. The full breakfast was a delicious way to start each day, and we enjoyed the clean and comfortable room. The highlight was definitely the beautiful gardens and the opportunity to have a game of tennis on the well-maintained court.

The shower could use an upgrade to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom.

We stayed in a freestanding cottage close to the river, which had an amazing atmosphere. The location was great, just outside eating areas and a short walk into the center of town. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The views of the mountains and the sound of the nearby sea were truly beautiful.

Got to say, this place was exactly what we needed for our city trip. the breakfast surpassed our expectations - it was absolutely delicious! We were also pleasantly surprised by the complementary activities available, such as canoeing and water sports. What's more, the view from our room was breathtaking - it overlooked a tranquil river and we could even hear the birds chirping from our balcony. the location was also spot on, with easy access to nearby attractions.

If we had to nitpick, it would be helpful if a list of the meals offered for lunch and supper were displayed somewhere visible. it would have been great to have more TV channels to choose from, especially movie channels.

The location of this hotel is stunning, right on the river surrounded by protected wetlands, which provides a unique experience. I loved the wooden balconies in the newly renovated rooms, which are available at no extra charge. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was included in the rate, making it a great value for money.
