Recently stayed at this charming hotel for our visit to the town. Loved the layout, with cottages and two-story buildings scattered around like a small hamlet. The separate restaurant building was fantastic, serving excellent food. The service provided by the staff was exemplary, and we were grateful for the on-demand shuttle to the town center. The location just outside the town offered stunning views. Special mention to Kyle, one of the managers, who swiftly resolved a room issue. The room itself was amazing, and we were blown away by the attentive and friendly staff, especially Nerbert & Lizette at the restaurant and Bonita in Housekeeping. The beautiful gardens added a touch of luxury. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

The service at this hotel was top, notch! the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the manager, Ben, was very hands, on and made sure everything was running smoothly. the rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated, with a charming countryside vibe. the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of options including made, to, order dishes. We also loved the complimentary wine served in the lounge and the shuttle service provided by the hotel. the location was perfect, just a short walk or bike ride away from the town center.

One small downside was the noise from the main road leading to the hotel. It could get a bit noisy at times, especially during peak hours.

I gotta say, the value for money at this place was top-notch. We got a comfy and clean room, a luxurious pool, and the most helpful and kind staff you can imagine. Not to mention the delicious breakfast and amazing couples massages. And the location was perfect for exploring the wine tram.

The location was fantastic, with beautiful French furniture and feminine colors in the bedrooms. The staff treated us like royalty, always available to help and assist us throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection was excellent overall, but the hot choice could have been better. The hash browns were soggy, the pork sausage was average, and the baked beans were overcooked.

We were greeted warmly by Anastasia upon arrival and she went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She personally made restaurant reservations and arranged transportation for us. The views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains were breathtaking and created a perfect ambiance. The one bedroom villa was spacious and had beautiful vaulted ceilings. The complimentary breakfast and pool area were relaxing and provided a variety of food and drink options. I highly recommend this hotel for a top-notch experience.

The location was very central, making it easy to explore this beautiful city. The hotel's shuttle service was a great convenience, especially for visiting the town center. The staff was amazing, providing top-notch service and going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I was particularly impressed by the restaurant manager Clifford, who went out of his way to bring us exactly what we needed after dinner at another restaurant. The food at the hotel was exceptional, with a delicious breakfast buffet and a la carte options. The staff even surprised us with complimentary sherry by the pool, adding a special touch to our stay.

The room at Franschhoek Country House & Villas was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards. I felt like royalty during my stay, especially when they surprised me with a special gift and card for my birthday. The attention to detail, like the rose petals on the bathroom floor, made me feel truly special. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcomed, even decorating the room with flower petals for my honeymoon. The cozy fireplace in the room added a romantic touch, and the overall luxurious vibe of the property was amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff, who were always smiling and attentive throughout my stay.

The only issue I had was with the mattress in our room, as it was quite hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the hotel could benefit from some renovations to give the rooms a fresher look.

The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities and services I needed. The hotel staff were well-trained and went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP. The beautiful gardens with two outdoor pools were the perfect spots to unwind. The hotel's history as a former perfumery added to its charm. Although I found the restaurant lacking in ambiance, the food was excellent, with a touch of Michelin-star quality. The free shuttle to the popular wine tram stop was a convenient perk. The treatment room offered outstanding professional service. I highly recommend this hotel and wish I had booked for a longer stay.
