As a tourist, I loved the convenient location of the hotel. It was within walking distance to many popular tourist attractions and the starting points of walking tours. The surrounding area also had nice cafes and a great New York style pizza place for takeaway. The on-site restaurant, Jerry's, served the best burger and tacos. The room was clean and housekeeping provided fresh towels daily. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, giving us the best sleep during our trip. The WiFi was also the fastest we experienced during our entire stay in South Africa.

We stayed for 3 nights in an executive suite at Hippo Boutique. The ultra modern decor and ambiance were impressive, as was the extra comfy king size bed. The hotel's central location in CP meant plenty of cafes and dining options within walking distance. The staff at the front desk were informative and polite, even preparing a breakfast box for our early checkout to catch a flight. We were delighted with our stay and will definitely return!

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I absolutely loved the spacious and clean rooms. They had all the necessary amenities like a microwave and bar fridge, making it convenient for us to have quick snacks and drinks. the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and pubs within walking distance. It felt safe to explore the area and we were never short of options for meals or entertainment. Additionally, the free parking and WiFi were a great bonus.

One downside was the patchy WiFi connectivity due to the nearby burger restaurant patrons hogging the connection during peak times. This made it a bit frustrating to get online at times.
