Loved the beautiful views and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Great location for hiking and mountain biking, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.- Enjoyed the amenities for kids like the jungle gym, tennis court, and pool.- Convenient location for exploring nearby attractions such as Kirstenbosch and the Constantia winelands.- Easy access to transportation with the red bus route.

The decor and facilities were outdated and in need of a makeover. Some cleanliness issues with dirty items in the kitchen.

I recently stayed at Houtkapperspoort in Cape Town for a few days to explore the city's attractions. The cottage I stayed in was comfortable and cosy, with all the necessary facilities. The surroundings of trees, gardens, and mountains created a beautiful atmosphere. The swimming pool was a nice bonus. The staff, including the guards and host, were friendly and helpful, making our stay easy and enjoyable.

Would recommend this hotel.
