The room was comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The location, just an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, was convenient. The staff, especially Washington and Elize, went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary celebration and entire stay were truly wonderful.

The breakfast choices could be improved by offering a wider variety of starters with different flavors and spices.

I recently stayed at a lovely lodge just outside Johannesburg and it was worth every penny. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. We also enjoyed the location, being surrounded by nature and having access to a beautiful pool and hiking trail. Plus, the lodge was a great base for exploring the Magaliesburg area and visiting the Lion Park in Hartebeespoort.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming lodge surrounded by breathtaking views. The buffet supper was absolutely delicious and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed biking on the mountain trail, taking in the stunning scenery. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was fulfilling and tasty. we had a relaxed and memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing time at this lodge. The staff were friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The breakfast served in the garden was a delightful experience. I enjoyed morning walks along the river, surrounded by serenity. The clean pool and provided swimming towels were a nice touch. The dinner was exceptional, and they even accommodated my request for pap. Fun activities were conveniently located near the lodge.

We stayed at Mokoya Lodge for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly friendly and even surprised my partner with a birthday celebration. The room was beautifully turned down, and the food was absolutely divine, especially the freshly baked bread. The massage was also incredibly relaxing and heavenly. the whole experience exceeded our expectations and we felt truly pampered. The location is also convenient, being just an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, yet offering tranquility and peace in nature. The chef and staff were always friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed the cycling trail and the kids loved the pool. The Christmas lunch festivities were fun, and Father Christmas was a special treat for the kids, even though my daughter figured out the fake beard. The lodge also served as a great base for exploring the Magaliesburg area and the Lion Park in Hartebeespoort.

The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. The location was perfect for us, with its tranquility and proximity to Johannesburg. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the chef's cooking was superb. the hotel provided a peaceful and enjoyable experience for us.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a tranquil and quiet area, just what I needed to escape the city rat race. The staff at Mokoya Lodge were excellent and very accommodating. I want to give a special shoutout to Pater, Washington, and Molebogeng for their exceptional service. The host, whose name I unfortunately can't recall, was truly amazing and made our stay even more memorable. His friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond should be recognized and rewarded. The food at the lodge was good and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. One small suggestion would be to revamp the garden, especially the reception/entrance area.

The spacious room, beautiful views, and the hammocks under the trees were all highlights. Washington's outstanding service was the cherry on top. We can't wait to come back in Spring!

the staff at this place were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed our breakfasts served in the beautiful garden, and took morning walks along the river. the pool was clean and well-maintained, and we loved spending time there with the provided swimming towels. the highlight, however, was the exceptional dinner we had. the chef even catered to my husband's vegan diet. We also appreciated the lodge's proximity to fun activities in the area.
