The restaurant host at Protea Hotel was excellent during my stay. Even though I can't remember his name, he worked the day shift on Saturday and Sunday. The room I stayed in was clean and neat, providing a comfortable stay. The FOH guest service agent was helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience. Room service was prompt and the staff overall were very friendly.

The gardens, pool, and Suite were beautiful and well-maintained. Convenient location, friendly staff, and excellent service, especially from Vuyokazi in the restaurant.

The rooms at Protea Hotel were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere for our stay. The location of the hotel was also excellent, allowing us easy access to explore the beautiful town of George. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the buffet breakfast served at the restaurant was superb, offering a variety of delicious options.

One drawback of our stay was the need for some general maintenance and updates in the bathroom. However, this did not significantly affect our overall experience.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning before heading out to explore. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the nearby beach, restaurants in town, and a shopping centre. The staff provided excellent service, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The hotel also had great facilities, including a play area for the kids and gated pools for their safety. Only downside was the slightly outdated furniture and the carpets needing a revamp. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.

During my new year stay at this hotel, I loved the spacious room which had a beautiful view of the pool and nearby mountains. The food served was delicious and plentiful, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The hotel location was perfect, very peaceful surrounded by greenery and with easy access to nearby attractions. After a long day of sightseeing, I enjoyed relaxing at the pool and taking a stroll around the hotel grounds.

There were a few negative aspects that I encountered during my stay. the room decor could have been more modern and up-to-date.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. The room was clean with a pleasant aroma. The swimming pool was a great addition, despite the unpredictable weather. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would recommend to family and friends.

My recent stay at the Protea Hotel was excellent value for money. The room, facing the beautiful green golf course, was comfortable, clean. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to take care of me. The breakfast at the four-star restaurant was delicious, and they even catered for special dietary needs like halaal food preparation. I highly recommend this hotel for a few nights of comfortable and affordable accommodation.
