The Saxon Hotel offers a tranquil and private atmosphere, with plenty of outdoor seating areas and a beautiful pool. The concierge, Masood, is knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are luxurious and well-equipped, with high-quality amenities and a fully stocked mini-bar. The Villa Suites also come with a private pool and a spacious lounge area. it is one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at, with lovely spaces to relax and unwind. The staff are excellent and the hotel has a special connection to Nelson Mandela, making it a truly memorable experience.

The room size was impressive, ranging from 80-200 square meters. It provided ample space for relaxation and comfort during our stay. the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to key attractions and amenities in the area. the highlight of our stay was the fantastic food offered by the hotel. the culinary experience was exceptional and truly satisfying.

We encountered some issues with the service during our stay. the staff seemed to lack enthusiasm and did not provide the level of attention and care that we had expected.

During our city trip, we had a good stay at the hotel. the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and neat, providing us with a comfortable stay. the breakfast offered by the hotel was also good, with a variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the attention to detail by the staff members was fantastic, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

There were a few aspects that we disliked. the food at the hotel was slightly overpriced, especially for a wrap which costed R300+.

I absolutely love staying at this hotel! It has become my favorite place to stay whenever I'm in town. The rooms are always spotless and the service is truly exceptional. The staff, especially Steve, Davies, and Mphiso, are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is also excellent, truly some of the best I've had. I've been fortunate to stay here four times this year and I will continue to choose this hotel whenever I visit Johannesburg.

Wow, just wow! This hotel is absolutely amazing! the rooms are incredibly luxurious with a huge bathroom and a heavenly bed. the hotel is in a great location, close to all the attractions. the staff was absolutely fantastic, always attentive and gracious. the breakfast buffet had a huge selection and the restaurant on site was delicious. the hydro options at the spa were a delightful surprise, we enjoyed the sauna, hot tubs, pool, and cold plunge.

I have to mention that one of our bags had some money missing, so the hotel staff should definitely improve their monitoring. But apart from that, everything else about our stay was absolutely perfect.
