We recently spent our Easter holiday at a luxury hotel in Johannesburg and it was an incredible experience. the staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. the location of the hotel was also perfect, as it was conveniently located near popular attractions and amenities. Additionally, the hotel offered a wide range of amenities, including a beautiful pool area and a relaxing spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

There were honestly no negative aspects of our stay at this hotel. the service was exceptional, the facilities were top-notch, and the location was ideal.

The staff, from the porters to the kitchen, were extremely friendly and attentive. They made my stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel facilities are excellent, with three pools, a spa, and a beautiful garden. The location is central, with lots to do in the local area. The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide selection of options.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and a glass of bubbles. Our suite was absolutely amazing, complete with a private garden and a double outdoor shower. The little extra touches, like the sweets left at turndown and the weather forecast card, made us feel truly pampered. The breakfast was a dream, with a wide selection of treats and a cozy atmosphere by the open fire. The piano bar was a delightful experience, with a talented pianist taking requests and a great wine selection. our stay at The Residence was beyond our expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

While our stay at The Residence was incredible, there were a few minor drawbacks. The parking lot was a bit dull and the leaves and petals were not cleared throughout our stay.

A Warm Welcome and Luxurious Comfort

We were greeted with a warm welcome at the airport, complete with bottled water and a friendly driver who whisked us away to our hotel. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the elegant and glamorous decor of the property. The room exceeded our expectations, with plenty of space, a luxurious bathroom, and a separate living area. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and engaging, especially Moses who provided interesting insights about South Africa. The food was outstanding, particularly the filet. The hotel itself is beautiful and tranquil, with stunning decor that resembles a French Boudoir era. The Couple's Journey spa treatment was the best I have ever experienced, surpassing many other spas I have visited around the world. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return.

We had an absolutely incredible romantic escape at this boutique hotel. the staff was dressed to impress and gave us a top-notch welcome with champagne upon arrival. the room was like a dream come true, with a comfortable king bed, fireplace, and even an outdoor jacuzzi and shower. the hotel also had a boat lounge where we enjoyed some drinks, adding to the luxurious experience. the service at this hotel was exceptional, with every staff member going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The only downside of our stay was the disappointing breakfast experience. the service was poor, and my plate had a dirty napkin folded on it.

The hotel lobby was lack-lustre and dark, giving a poor first impression. While the location suited me for business purposes, it was not near any attractions or entertainment opportunities.
