Roomy and convenient getaway

Really enjoyed the spacious room with a huge bathroom—felt like a mini apartment! The staff was super friendly, and I loved the bar/lounge area for chilling with friends. One thing tho, the walk to the pool was a bit weird since it’s not directly accessible from the floors. Still, the vibes were nice!

Had a great time with friends! The location near Tanjong Pagar MRT is super convenient. We explored the 100am mall for food and drinks. The club room had daily free cocktails, and the mini-bar was refilled—though a bit inconsistent. Clean and bright rooms were a nice touch!

Our stay was delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Concierge Raymond was particularly helpful and made great recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious—definitely a highlight of our mornings!

However, there were some minor inconveniences. The gym was closed during our visit due to renovations, which was a letdown. Also, the walk to the pool was a bit inconvenient as there was no direct access from our floor.

Absolutely dissapointing! I found hair in the tub and after requesting towels for our family, they only provided them for 2 days of our stay. Shockingly, upon checkout, I had to lug my bags alone while the staff just stood around! I almost wrote a good review, but this was just too much to ignore.

Raymond at the concierge was a gem, always welcoming and ready to assist. I truly appreciated the warm family-like atmosphere he created, making our stay feel special despite being far from home.

The newly renovated rooms are cozy and spacious. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety including Japanese bento options. The staff were friendly and genuinely attentive.

However, there were issues like inconsistent communication regarding a supposed anniversary surprise that never materialized. Also, some common areas felt a bit worn and could use some tidying up. Despite the minor inconveniences, the location was great for exploring the city.

The room was fantastic! Huge space with a big bathroom and walk-in shower. Loved the coffee machine and the complimentary snacks in the executive lounge. Breakfast was delicious. The outdoor pool area was beautiful, and the fitness center was a nice perk. Staff like Raymond made the stay even more enjoyable!

The overall experience was tainted by several issues. The shower water temperature was inconsistent, making it a struggle to find a comfortable setting. Additionally, the communication with staff was poor, as I had to make multiple requests just to receive basic amenities, which really detracted from my stay. I also encountered cleanliness issues, particularly with leftover debris in my room that had not been properly cleaned up, leaving me feeling uneasy about the hygiene standards.

The location is fantastic, right by the MRT with great food options nearby. The hotel offers engaging walking tours to explore local culture. Unfortunately, the shower water temperature fluctuated too much, making it hard to enjoy a comfortable shower.

the amara singapore, newly renovated has a fantastic location, just a short walk from the mrt and a 24-hour supermarket right across the street. the facilities are great, especially the swimming pool set in beautiful greenery. raymond from the staff was incredibly helpful and made my stay memorable!
