the far east hotel has a great location for a weekend staycation, being just a few kilometers from everything. the comfy bed and decent blackout curtains made my stay feel cozy.

A cozy stay with friendly faces

During my visit, I was genuinely impressed by the helpful staff, especially at the lounge. I could work comfortably in my spacious room which was perfect for my needs. Plus, having a refillable glass water bottle was a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated.

Great location near two MRT stations.

I was disappointed to find the pool closed for maintenance during my stay. It was frustrating to learn about the alternative pool option only after checking in, as I was looking forward to relaxing without the hassle of transportation. Additionally, the absence of quick dining options after 8 PM was quite inconvenient, especially arriving late at night after a long flight.

Chilled in a super comfy room, and got a free upgrade to junior suites, which was lekker! Staff were awesome, especially Dean and Panneer who really helped out when I got sick. The breakfast was solid and the location was proper near all the main spots.

Had some drama with the early check-in, but we managed in the end. Could’ve been smoother, that’s for sure.

I was incredibly disappointed with the breakfast experience. There were barely any food options, and what was available was frequently empty. The seating arrangement was chaotic, making it difficult for guests to find a place. It really did not meet the expectations of a hotel that promotes itself as a top spot in Singapore.

Enjoyed my stay with a smooth check-in and loved the Japanese toilet seat in my room, such a unique touch! The pool area was perfect for unwinding with sun loungers and a relaxing atmosphere. Just wish the breakfast had a bit more variety, but overall, it was a great experience. 😊

Service quality, food options, limited choices

I enjoyed my stay and was impressed with the suite. The room had great facilities and the location was convenient for exploring nearby areas. The service staff were helpful, and one of them even prepared a surprise for me, which was a nice touch. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere for my getaway. As a European traveler, I found it nice to connect with friendly faces during my visit.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness centre. On my first stay, staff helped me with a bottle of water at night. Highly recommend staying here! I'm coming back for a business trip.

Housekeeping team was superb, always on point with cleanliness. Staff were warm and helpful, especially during check-in. The mini fridge was a lifesaver in the hot weather here.
