I recently stayed at The Principal Madrid for a weekend getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a glass of bubbly and felt instantly welcomed. The hotel's rooftop bar offers breathtaking views of the city, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. The bed in my room was the most comfortable I have ever slept in - I felt like a baby! I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, luxurious amenities, and unbeatable location.

The hotel had a good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance. the reception staff were always ready to help with any issues and there were always taxis available nearby. the breakfast at the hotel was good and the menu for dinner looked appealing.

The rooms were smaller than they appeared on the website and the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep with the windows open. the size of the Deluxe Rooms was inconsistent.

The rooftop views were absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. It was a truly memorable experience to take in the beauty of Madrid from up there. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice linens and a well-lit bathroom. This hotel is perfectly located near all the major attractions in the city. You can easily walk to El Prado, Retiro Park, and Plaza Mayor. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable, with high-quality coffee and tea provided. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast with a good selection of food, including fresh juices and champagne. The concierge and front desk are always ready to assist with directions and transportation.

The process of checking-in can be a bit slow and confusing if there are changes in the guest list.

During my recent Thanksgiving trip, I enjoyed the complimentary wine and pie offered in celebration of the holiday. the location was perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants, and within walking distance to all the sights. Another advantage was the cozy fireplace which provided warmth and ambiance in the lobby.

my room was noisy due to traffic outside, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The Principal Madrid has exceptional personalized service, friendly staff, and a lovely terrace overlooking the city. The accommodations are comfortable and the location on Gran Via is perfect for sightseeing and dining. The hotel is also baby-friendly, with spacious rooms and a smooth airport transfer service.

We had an amazing stay at The Principal Madrid. The location was perfect, with hidden local areas and great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was modern and worth the 5-stars, with a welcoming lobby on the 6th floor. The rooms were comfortable, with fantastic views and a lovely bath area. The staff were wonderful, from the concierge to room service. The turn-down service with complimentary water and Godiva chocolate was a nice touch. The breakfast offered delicious food and the bar had a great selection of wine.

The value for money was great, and the room was lovely despite being a bit small. The location was perfect, right at the center of everything in Madrid, and the staff treated us extremely well with their kindness and helpfulness.
