Casa Matias was super clean with an incredibly friendly staff. Proximity to bus stations was a lifesaver for tired feet. Amenities like luggage storage were greatly appreciated!

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of my room. The proximity to the bus and supermarket made my stay convenient, even if it wasn't right in the center.

However, the check-in process was quite frustrating. I arrived during siesta, and figuring out that the reception was at a neighboring shop left me waiting and wandering the streets of Sarria like a confused traveler.

after arriving, I absolutely could not find the bathroom—clearly labeled, right? the room felt like a dungeon, too! I expected at least an upgrade for my troubles but was sadly mistaken. Also, with such thin walls, I almost enjoyed a ‘concert’ of my neighbor's shower. I almost thought of leaving a good review, but I just couldn't.

The proximity to key amenities like the laundromat and a seamless check-in experience through the adjacent shop made my stay smooth, despite it being a bit noisy at night. Perfect for travelers needing a quick stop.

The check-in experience needs clarity. waiting for the shop to open is frustrating!!! The room temperature was uncomfortably cold, even with heating!!! The WiFi connection was also disappointing!!! Poor water pressure in the shower could use improvement!!!

This was just a good match for a brief stop-in in Sarria with good value. The woman who runs the place was super nice, helping us out with directions and suggesting a great baggage transport service when my husband’s knee gave out. Make sure to check the login times since the reception can close for siesta.
