Stayed at Don Carlos and had a great experience. The hotel is well located between the old town and Plaza Mayor. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The room was clean and comfortable, exceeding the standards of a typical 3-star hotel. The breakfast was good value for the additional cost and there is a nearby restaurant with quality food at an affordable price. Having the option for parking was a big plus, although it may be a bit difficult to find initially due to the narrow roads in the area.

The charming streets of Caceres, with their narrow and cobbled paths, are like a delightful maze that leads to hidden treasures. Exploring the town feels like stepping into a fairytale, with its balconies made of iron and wood, white facades, and green vegetable gardens. One of the highlights of my stay was visiting the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe, a sanctuary that holds the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of the region of Extremadura. The history and beauty of this place left me in awe.

I recently stayed at Hotel Don Carlos for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a great area, close to bars and shops, with a secure car park just a short walk away. The furniture in the hotel is beautifully old and the building itself has been restored with great care. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was top-notch. The room was comfortable, with excellent air-conditioning. I was so captivated by the city that I even extended my stay to fully explore it.
