Great location, right in the heart of the city. We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with the room and cleanliness. The daily cleaning service was a bonus, with the bed made and towels changed. The staff were kind and helpful, and we loved the option to leave our bags on check-out day. The WiFi in the room was excellent and we appreciated the 24-hour reception. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was amazing, with easy access to the metro and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning. The affordable price was definitely a plus.

During our stay, there was construction going on, which was quite noisy and disrupted our sleep. some staff members were not very friendly or accommodating.

I had an amazing stay in the heart of the city, with easy access to pretty much everything. The hotel's central location was a huge plus, as I could reach all the main attractions in this city without any hassle. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, with the rooms being cleaned every day. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

Nothing to dislike.

I had a great stay at a hostel in the city center. The staff at Hostal El Pilar were incredibly cooperative and even allowed me to store my luggage after check-out so I could explore the city without any hassle. The location was perfect, just a few meters from Sol Square, and there was a vibrant city life with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The beds in the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the good internet connection during my stay.

The central location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and the metro. Good shower, radiator, and aircon unit. Excellent free wifi. Cooperative staff. High ceilings and comfortable architecture.

This budget hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Madrid, just a short walk away from the bustling Plaza de las Armas and the convenient Metro station. You'll be right in the action, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with friendly staff who are always ready to assist you. Plus, the bathroom is surprisingly cozy and the towels provided in abundance.

There are some noise issues in certain rooms, which can be a bit annoying at times.

The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The hotel facilities were great, including the elevator and the comfortable beds. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the metro station and close to everything, so we didn't need transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Alfredo at reception who went above and beyond to assist us.

My weekend stay at Hostal El Pilar was perfect for exploring the city center. The location, just a few meters from Puerta del Sol, was ideal for my travel purpose. The room was cosy and clean, with fresh towels and basic cosmetics provided. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, and I appreciated the option to leave my luggage securely after check-out. a great experience in a well-equipped and centrally located hostal.

The location was perfect, right in the city center just off of the Sol metro stop. I didn't need any transportation because everything was so close by. The hotel was within walking distance of the main city sights, making it easy to explore. Additionally, the hotel was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The staff at the reception was very friendly. The rooms and wardrobe were big and the bed was very comfortable, we didn't want to get up in the morning. The location is impeccabl. It's in the center and 1 minute walking from the Sol metro station.

Stayed in a pension in the heart of the city, close to everything and really near by metro stop. The room was clean, comfortable and had a private bathroom. The staff was efficient and the housekeeping was done everyday. The mini-elevator was convenient to reach the reception. There were vending machines available to buy coffee or soft drinks. it was a great value for the money.
