The hotel is located in a prime area, with a front view of the old town. It is near a cafe where we enjoyed breakfast every day. We could easily walk to many attractions, such as the Rambla, old city, shopping areas, and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and excellent service. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of local specialties and healthy options. The rooftop infinity pool provides panoramic views of the city.

One negative aspect was the lack of a sauna and jacuzzi, which would have been a nice addition to the facilities.

We got great value for our money at this Small Luxury Hotel. The room was beautiful, overlooking the street, and the staff even provided us with umbrellas when it rained. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the alleyways and close to a Barcelona Bus Tour stop. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could be improved by offering a complete buffet option, as ordering eggs a la carte took longer than expected.

The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The food was excellent, and the City Bar was relaxing and good value. The rooftop Skybar offered fabulous views over the pool. The hotel provided a true 5-star experience with a homely feel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, being adjacent to the El Born neighborhood and close to the beach and the sea. The hotel facilities were outstanding, especially the rooftop bar and pool, where we enjoyed drinks while admiring the breathtaking views. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to all the sights of the gothic quarter and the availability of transportation options made it very convenient for us to explore the city.

Lovely stay with a few minor hiccups, like the lack of privacy in the bathroom. However, the amazing pool with cushioned flooring made up for it. The staff quickly resolved a billing issue and the turn down service was flawless. The location was also perfect for exploring the city. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

From the moment we arrived at Grand Hotel Central, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The staff took care of our bags and even offered us a refreshing KAVA drink. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provided us with helpful advice throughout our stay. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the stunning city views from the rooftop bar. The breakfast and cafe con leche were just right, and we were delighted to discover unique tapas bars recommended by the hotel. our experience at Grand Hotel Central was outstanding, and we highly recommend this Small Luxury Hotel.

Perfect location: The hotel is situated in a prime location that allowed us to easily explore the vibrant neighborhoods of El Born and Barri Gotic, as well as walk to Barceloneta. It was incredibly convenient to have these areas within easy walking distance.

Lack of control over children: The hotel was supposed to have a luxurious and classy vibe, but it was often disrupted by kids running around and diving into the pool. It would have been appreciated if the hotel staff or parents took more control over the children's behavior to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions. The rooftop bar and swimming pool provided a great outdoor space to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the city. The on-site restaurant offered delicious food at a reasonable price, and as a guest, I received a 20% discount which was a nice bonus.

There were a couple of minor issues during my stay. Firstly, wash cloths were not provided in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.
