We were pleasantly surprised by this place in the center of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well-equipped with heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. The hotel also had the added bonus of being soundproofed, which made for a peaceful night's sleep.

the staff at Hernan Cortes were friendly and efficient. the suite I was upgraded to was huge and beautifully furnished. Despite the hotel being somewhat dated, it was very well maintained. the breakfast provided was good and the hotel was centrally located with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. the room itself was well insulated, spacious, and well appointed with amenities such as a heating rack for towels, AC with controls, and a ceiling fan. the beds were comfortable and the cleaning team did a great job. a highly recommended stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hernan Cortes for a weekend getaway. The hotel exudes grandeur and elegance, with its classic decor and immaculate interiors. we stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of the city. the spacious rooms had a great view of the city and a walk-in wardrobe with a safe. the large shower room was a plus. we were amazed by the view from the 10th floor staircase. as a bonus, we received a voucher for a free drink at the adjacent casino. the hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to both the harbour and the old town. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day off right.

I was disappointed to find that there was no complimentary water on arrival, or a kettle and coffee/tea facilities as I have experienced in similar hotels.

We had a fantastic experience at Hernan Cortes. the room was spacious with a huge marbled bathroom, excellent bed, and a large TV. the location was convenient, with the sea and the center of the old town just a short walk away. the breakfast options were superb, with both Spanish and English breakfasts available. the local products, fresh orange juice, and great value for money made it even better. We highly recommend trying the "Menu Cachopo" at the restaurant As de Picas nearby, as the service and quality are outstanding. Don't forget to mention you're staying at the hotel to get a free digestive!
