The location of the hotel is superb - in the centre of the old town with majority of historical sites, central market and transport links at the doorstep. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly, giving some great advice on places to eat out. Cleanliness and comfort of the room were great and we had three windows on fourth floor:-) The room was tastefully decorated and the hotel had a major face-lift since we last visited the same hotel - we liked it first time so returned and did not disappoint:-)

I recently stayed at Catalonia Excelsior for a week-long trip to Valencia. The hotel's location on a quiet street just off the main road was perfect. Our room with a terrace was a great spot to enjoy breakfast and the comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. The staff at the front desk were all friendly and helpful. The room had plenty of natural light, a spacious bathroom, and even a small fridge to keep drinks cold. a great experience!

Friendly staff, efficient handling of leaking water issue, moved to better room, tasty breakfast buffet. Average-sized room with comfortable bed, good TV, interesting view. Decent-sized bathroom with nice shower, provided shampoo and shower gel. Great location near bars and restaurants, close to main square and market. Excellent air conditioning.

Got a free breakfast and gym pass during Xmas. Perfect location for exploring the historic district and local bars with good beer prices. the hotel provided free Wi-Fi and the room had a comfy bed.

Bathroom was not stocked with shower gel or a hairdryer. the room was freezing cold and the staff was not helpful when we asked to turn up the temperature.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel in Valencia. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of bath robes and slippers. The beds were also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel even provided cold mineral water in the fitness center, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the Central Market.

One of the highlights of my stay was the jacuzzi bath in the luxurious bathroom - it was the perfect treat after a long day of sightseeing. The only minor drawback was that the water was turned off on the day I checked out, but considering all the other amazing experiences I had at this hotel, it was a small inconvenience. I highly recommend Catalonia Excelsior for anyone visiting Valencia.

We loved staying here, as the hotel is located in the very centre of the city, just off the main square. It was so convenient for everything in the city centre, which made getting around so easy. The service was outstanding and the room amenities, such as the heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and in-room safe, were excellent. We also appreciated the free toiletries and flat-screen TV. The staff, from reception to chambermaids, were incredibly friendly and made our stay truly comfortable.
