The location of the hostel is great as it is really in the city center, making it convenient to explore the town. It is also not far from bus lines, allowing for easy transportation. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view and is a great place to relax.

The WiFi connection was not reliable, which was a drawback for those who needed to stay connected.

I had an incredible stay at this special place in the heart of Tarifa. Hostal Africa offers so many wonderful features, like daily yoga classes, reiki sessions, and various workshops. the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the rooftop terrace provides a stunning view of the sea and the town. the owners and their kids are lovely people, and Felicity, a staff member, truly embodies the heart and soul of this place. She was always available to help with recommendations and answer any questions. I've never felt so welcomed at a hotel before. Thank you!

Amazing location, delicious restaurants nearby, daily housekeeping, beautiful and spacious roof terrace with stunning views and a cozy cabin, helpful and friendly staff.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape! The old town location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the ferry to Africa. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure our stay was unforgettable. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the rooftop terrace with its stunning views. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean breeze.

While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor downsides. The room we stayed in had very small windows, which limited the amount of natural light.

the location is superb, close to all the restaurants, bars, and shops of the beautiful old town. the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive, and the interior is cozy and well thought out. the view from the rooftop terrace is stunning, and both the room and shared bathroom were spotlessly clean. We can only recommend this hostel and would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Thanks for everything!

The rooftop is perfect for relaxation. The location is ideal, just 5 minutes from the beach and the center.

I loved spending time on the beautiful terrace, and it was great to have restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. the port was also within walking distance, making it easy to catch a ferry to Tangier.
