We were a bit worried about the hotel after reading some reviews, but our stay at Ilunion was surprisingly pleasant. The room was cozy and the breakfast had a good variety of options. The pool area was inviting, although we didn't get a chance to use it. The hotel's location may not be the best, but the staff was helpful in calling us a taxi to explore nearby Mijas. I would recommend this hotel for its value and comfortable accommodations.

Our stay at Ilunion was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the terrace and swimming pool. The location was perfect, with beautiful beaches just a short drive away and the charming town of Mijas Pueblo nearby. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Juan Carlos who provided great service. The bar and lounge area were well-maintained, and the food and drinks were delicious. we had a fantastic experience at Ilunion.

For an overnight stop being 15 mins from the airport, the location is perfect. Plus, the views over the mountains and the sea from Da Bruno's restaurant are breathtaking. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was excellent and the outlook was beautiful. I especially enjoyed sitting in the garden after my evening meal - it was truly stunning. The staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. I felt very safe as a lone traveler and the hotel had great value for money. The breakfast choice was outstanding and the pool was gorgeous and well-maintained. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

One small downside was the grumpy pool attendant who seemed unhappy when I took my room towels down. However, this hotel is perfect for families and I would definitely recommend it to them.

I recently had a fantastic solo trip to a hotel in Mijas. The location was convenient, with a bus stop just across the road for easy access to Mijas or the beach. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-furnished, with blackout curtains and comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel also had great facilities such as a wheelchair-accessible pool and gym.

The lack of room service, which would have been a nice additional convenience.

The pool was beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of shade and grassy areas to relax in.

The restaurant manager and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was relaxed and the beds were comfortable. Eduardo, the receptionist, was exceptional in his professionalism and kindness. The outdoor swimming pool and grounds were amazing, with beautiful views over the pool from the room. The hotel’s €1 transfer bus, driven by Ricardo, was a convenient and pleasant option compared to the unreliable local bus.
