We loved the hotel's location in the charming historic setting, right in the heart of everything, within the walls of this town not usually frequented by tourists. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, and the attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the spacious and comfortable suites with beautiful period furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the city. The breakfast offered a great selection of food, including fresh orange juice, and the staff made sure that everything was well taken care of.

The hotel had all the amenities I needed, including clean rooms and a lovely courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me information about the city. The location was perfect, right in the center and close to all the attractions. Plus, there were sun chairs and trees providing shade from the Spanish sun.

Lovely Parador, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent, providing great service. The dinner at the restaurant was very good. Enjoyed a pleasant walk along the nearby Douro River. Secure parking was available just minutes away from the property. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was extremely firm, resulting in a uncomfortable sleep. Additionally, the restaurant had limited opening hours and the service was a bit slow when crowded with large groups.

We had a decent breakfast and the location was really good – close enough to walk to the city center and its landmarks, and also to some other areas worth checking out. The beds were soft and comfortable, which made up for the cramped space in the room. I particularly appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to give us some tips of what to see and what to avoid.

Finding a spot to park our car was rather challenging, as the hotel only had a few parking spots available and the nearby garage was frequently full. , getting to the hotel was quite a hassle as we had to navigate through narrow and winding streets that made us feel like we were in a maze.

The bed and pillows in room 115 were reported to be uncomfortable, which could pose a problem for light sleepers.
