Absolutely fantastic location and easy to access by car. the reception manager was very welcoming and explained everything necessary for our stay. the place was well-organized and efficient. the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen impeccable. We enjoyed delicious food at the restaurant, and the staff were very professional. the cleaning and disinfection throughout the premises were thorough. the parking was convenient and the hotel is located in the old part of town, which is mostly pedestrianized. the staff were kind and the historic palace was beautiful with wonderful views across the old town. the presence of a swimming pool in the garden was an added bonus.

The location was perfect, right in the center and close to all the attractions. Plus, there were sun chairs and trees providing shade from the Spanish sun.

Lovely Parador, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent, providing great service. The dinner at the restaurant was very good. Enjoyed a pleasant walk along the nearby Douro River. Secure parking was available just minutes away from the property. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was extremely firm, resulting in a uncomfortable sleep. Additionally, the restaurant had limited opening hours and the service was a bit slow when crowded with large groups.

We had a decent breakfast and the location was really good – close enough to walk to the city center and its landmarks, and also to some other areas worth checking out. the beds were soft and comfortable, which made up for the cramped space in the room. I particularly appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to give us some tips of what to see and what to avoid.

Finding a spot to park our car was rather challenging, as the hotel only had a few parking spots available and the nearby garage was frequently full. getting to the hotel was quite a hassle as we had to navigate through narrow and winding streets that made us feel like we were in a maze.
