This hotel is perfectly located close to everything, including the Metro which makes travel convenient. Just at the top of La Rambla, it's great for exploring on foot or using the Metro. The room is spacious, with soft linen and a comfy bed. The bathroom is modern, with great complimentary extras restocked daily. The hotel offers a great choice of breakfast, hot, cold, and healthy options for any taste.

The minibar isn't automatically filled in and there are no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, but it's not a deal-breaker.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The value for money was fantastic and the room was clean and stylish. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to the Gothic Quarter and Gaudi's famous "casa"s. The staff at Mate Pau were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be a wider variety on the menu.

You can easily walk to many fantastic tourist attractions and there is even a bus stop nearby that goes straight to the airport. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help with any queries. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, the breakfast options are delicious and varied, catering to different dietary needs.

What a disappointment! On my recent business trip, I decided to stay at a hotel that was centrally located and offered great amenities. I must say that I liked the free Wi-Fi and the complimentary breakfast offered at this hotel. the location was also great, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Another thing that I enjoyed about this place was the excellent view from my room.

My overall stay was not a pleasant one due to several factors. the size of the room was tiny, and it felt claustrophobic.
