During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the serene ambiance of the hotel. the hotel offered a range of relaxing activities, such as couples' spa treatments and candlelit dinners by the pool. We also loved the fact that the hotel was located near a picturesque beach and had stunning ocean views from our room. Another advantage was the attentive and friendly staff who made sure our every need was taken care of.

The restaurant menu lacked variety and the food quality did not meet our expectations. the prices for the meals were quite high compared to other places we visited.

During our Christmas stay, we were thrilled by the luxury wildlife experience and the beautiful location. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Kamal, the camp manager. The tents were cozy and clean, providing a comfortable stay amidst the wilderness. The pickup and drop-off service was seamless, making our travel hassle-free. The highlight of our stay was the half-day morning safari, where we enjoyed spotting elephants, crocodiles, eagles, and buffalos. The camp's amazing location on the edge of the park offered a unique wildlife encounter right at our doorstep. This unforgettable experience made our Christmas truly special.

The only downside we experienced was the limited variety of food options. While the barbecue dinner was delicious, we wished there had been a Sri Lankan option to make it even more perfect.

the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. the camp itself was well-organized and immaculately clean. the lunch provided on the first day was outstanding and truly exceeded our expectations. We also thoroughly enjoyed the evening BBQ, which had a lovely atmosphere. the safari experience was fantastic, thanks to the knowledgeable and experienced staff who guided us through the area.

No folding tables and chairs for lunch, limited options for safari. the food was somewhat disappointing, with the BBQ meat being overcooked and the side dishes lacking creativity.

From the moment we arrived, the efficient manager made sure everything ran smoothly. the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. the highlight of our trip was the half-day safari in Yala Park. We were amazed by the diverse wildlife we encountered, including water buffalo, elephants, and even leopards. the location was stunning, and the camping facilities were comfortable. the food was delicious, although I would have loved more options for traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. it was an amazing experience that I would love to repeat.

The tent experience at this safari camp was great fun and the tents themselves were surprisingly luxurious, with showers and toilets inside. The food exceeded expectations and the half-board package included a delightful 3-course dinner. Guests also have the opportunity to participate in additional activities such as night time nature walks, even for those staying only one night!

The number of jeeps allowed into the safari area can be overwhelming and disruptive to the wildlife.

The food at the hotel was excellent, with a range of both local and international options. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect, surrounded by beautiful bushland and offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the safari experience was fantastic, with experienced guides who knew how to find and approach the wildlife.

There was some noise during the day due to nearby excavation work, which took away from the peaceful setting. Additionally, there was a minor inconvenience of not being aware of the availability of cold water in the common area refrigerator, especially during the hot season.

We stayed at Big Game - Yala for two nights and had an amazing experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a drink and shown to our clean and comfortable tent with a vintage feel. The wifi was surprisingly strong and fast, reaching our tent from the relaxing area. The highlight was the outdoor dining area, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner tailored to our vegetarian needs. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay extra special with thoughtful touches. The safari with our knowledgeable guide was unforgettable, and we even saw a lucky leopard!
