I recently enjoyed a relaxing stay at Green Escape in Unawatuna. The staff, especially Sameeran, were attentive and kind. The varied dinner menu, including delicious Sri Lankan curries, was a highlight. The chef Taling even shared the recipe for their delectable coconut pancakes. The hotel’s pool was a perfect spot to unwind, and the well-tended gardens added to the tranquil atmosphere. I also loved the opportunity to feed the adorable rabbits and observe the local wildlife, such as lizards and monkeys. With comfortable rooms and friendly service, Green Escape is a great place to rest and rejuvenate.

During my recent stay at Green Escape, I was amazed by the stunning visual beauty of the surroundings. Everywhere I looked, it was truly beautiful. The hotel staff, especially the male staff in the kitchens, were always super lovely and helpful. One particular waiter stood out for his attentiveness and excellent service during breakfast. The comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep, and waking up to the sound of nature was delightful. I also enjoyed seeing land monitors and squirrels on the property. The fresh fruit juices were a delicious treat, and the welcome drink upon arrival added a nice touch to the experience.

I must mention that the towels in the hotel need renewing. The pool towels were often stained and the bath towels left bits of cotton on the skin.

The hotel staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are clean and the restaurant offers delicious food. The peaceful environment and beautiful pool are refreshing. Special facilities for diving are available.

I recently stayed at Green Escape for my solo trip and it was absolutely beautiful. The property was surrounded by nature and the pool was peaceful. The staff were all adorable and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The highlight of my trip was meeting Harsha, the hotel's amazing tourist guide, who showed me the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka. Can't wait to come back!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of Sri Lankan nature and just a short distance from the center of town. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always available to assist us. The rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning and a mini-bar. We loved starting our day with a delicious breakfast and enjoyed lounging by the outdoor swimming pool. The hotel also offered a range of activities, from billiard tables to snorkeling and diving trips. this place provided us with a luxurious and relaxing experience.

We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely jungle resort with beautiful pool, amazing upgrade, and relaxing atmosphere. Great staff, especially Danny, who took us on a memorable locals night out. Delicious food, stunning rooms, and helpful tuk-tuk service.

My romantic escape was truly amazing! The setting was beautiful with lush greenery everywhere. The pool was refreshing and the bar area was exceptional. We enjoyed some of the best Sri Lankan cuisine and the staff was very friendly, especially the reception manager who went out of their way to make our stay spectacular. Plus, the location was perfect as everything was easily reachable by tuk-tuk. We also loved the open sky shower, it was a unique experience that added to our adventure.

Although we had a great time at the hotel, we felt like the staff was not well-trained and their miss-management was a bit disappointing. The room could have been cleaner and we found pieces of dirt on our towels which made us uncomfortable.

The hotel is situated in a serene natural setting, surrounded by landscaped gardens and wildlife like monkeys and rabbits. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners and fans to ensure a comfortable temperature. Guests can enjoy a beautiful pool area and friendly staff who are always ready to assist with organizing excursions and providing entertainment.
