We had a delightful time at this tea plantation hotel. The historical charm, with its old machines and decor, transported us back in time. The warm welcome and a nice cup of tea on arrival made us feel instantly at home. Our spacious executive loft room on the 4th floor offered breathtaking views of the tea plantation. The breakfast buffet was a treat, with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and the housekeeping service was prompt and efficient. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a unique and relaxing stay.

We had a truly enchanting experience at this vintage hotel. The corner suite they upgraded us to provided a surreal view of the surrounding area. The staff were super friendly and we even got to participate in tea plucking with Krishna, who was incredibly kind and humble. The hotel itself is a converted old factory, offering a unique and different experience. The greenery and tea plants all around created a picturesque setting. The evening meal was absolutely first class, the best we had during our stay. The staff were polite and accommodating, making us feel like we had our own private staff. The check-in process was quick and relaxing, with a traditional Sri Lankan welcome and a comfortable waiting area. The colonial rooms were well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel location was fantastic, with misty evenings and a cool mountain breeze. We also enjoyed the tea estate nature walk and tea-plucking activity, which were led by friendly and accommodating guides.

We felt incredibly taken care of during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble for the staff.

Preserved architecture, excellent meals and cocktails, great breakfast. Comfortable hotel with hospitable staff, especially the clever front office manager. Perfect for honeymoons and relaxation. As I arrived at this hotel, I was blown away by the luxurious and exclusive amenities offered. the service was impeccable, and I was impressed with the spacious and well-designed room, complete with an in-room breakfast. the restaurant served delicious halal food, and the bar/lounge area was the perfect place to relax after a long day. the Spa & Wellness Centre and Turkish bath were fantastic, and I enjoyed a peaceful massage in the Spa Lounge.

The only minor issue I experienced at this hotel was the limited entertainment available on TV. the beautiful surroundings made up for this, and I spent most of my time enjoying the peace and quiet of the private facilities, including the picnic area and packed lunches.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view from my room was breathtaking, with hills of tea plantations stretching as far as the eye could see. The hotel itself, being a remodelled colonial tea factory, was a unique and charming experience. The old railway carriage turned restaurant was a highlight, where I enjoyed a delicious 7-course set menu meal. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, providing exceptional service throughout. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were well-maintained.
