The location of this hotel is unbeatable, just a short walk to the entrance of Sinharaja Forest. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious, especially the rice and curry. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, including a ceiling fan. The pool is a great bonus after a hot day exploring the jungle. The hotel is also able to arrange transportation for guests, making it a hassle-free experience.

The only minor downside is that some windows and doors do not have screens, so it's possible to encounter a few jungle insects in the rooms.

Spent Xmas Eve at this lodge surrounded by stunning nature! Loved the delicious authentic Sri Lankan food, especially the fresh vegetable curry. the location was perfect, with easy access to hiking trails and a peaceful environment. Enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool after a long trek. the staff was polite and helpful, making our stay comfortable.

The wifi was a bit spotty and the rooms were a bit basic, no mosquito nets or AC. the fans worked well, but it can get quite hot. the language barrier was an issue at times during check-in.

We had an amazing time exploring the Sinharaja Rainforest with the guide recommended by the hotel. He was knowledgeable and pointed out various endemic bird species and monkeys. The swimming pool provided a refreshing dip after our jungle adventure. highly recommended!
