had a wedding ceremony in kandy and decided to stay at the tourmaline again. exceeded expectations with breathtaking views, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. easily the best hotel in sri lanka.

Parking was confusing and car got covered in tree sap.

I recently stayed at The Tourmaline in Kandy for a few days and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a warm and welcoming ambience. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the 360 degree views of mist shrouded mountains were breathtaking. The food was excellent with plenty of choices, and the overall experience felt truly magical. Great value for money and I would definitely stay here again if I visit Sri Lanka in the future.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the Tourmaline hotel in Kandy! the location on top of the hill provided us with a stunning view of the valley. the rooms on the second floor offered beautiful views of Kandy. the hotel staff, especially the restaurant manager and Nalin, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the breakfast served was outstanding, with a great mix of continental and Sri Lankan cuisine. the hotel's quiet location away from the city traffic added to its charm. Walking down the hill allowed us to explore the local houses and gardens. a highly recommended stay.

The hotel's location was close to the city center, making it easy to explore. Another advantage was the availability of room service, which was convenient after a long day of sightseeing. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.

The hotel lacked the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. the room was small and cramped, with no seating options other than the bed.
