We stayed at a hotel near the sea, away from the crowded beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean, and we could hear the soothing sound of waves crashing on the rocks. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The staff was friendly and attentive, always fixing any problems we had. The breakfast was good, especially the Sri Lankan style omelette. The pool and bar area was a great place to relax with a view of the sea.

The WiFi was unreliable and there was some noise from maintenance work near the pool area.

Luxurious room with a jacuzzi bath, and the manager kindly offered a discount. Peaceful location with a nice sea view from the room and pool. Attentive bar staff who went out of their way to get us champagne. Tasty room service meals. Despite some teething problems, I would recommend this hotel.

We had a nice time at this hotel. the pool area provided relaxation with a stunning view of the ocean waves crashing against the rocks. the staff was very friendly and always willing to assist. the location was great, only a short walk away from the main beach area and its restaurants. the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

We had to request certain amenities such as more tea and coffee, and the curtains were not blackout which made it difficult to sleep past sunrise. the food options were not as appealing as expected, so we decided to eat at other locations nearby.

The ocean view is stunning, with beautiful sunsets and crashing waves against the rocks. Spacious rooms have large balconies and the pool is fantastic - especially for families with young children due to the shallow area. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Good location, away from the busy center but still easily accessible.

The property had a quiet location, quick access to restaurants and the beach, clean pool with amazing ocean view, kind and helpful staff, spacious room with ocean view and jacuzzi.

The staff at Watergate Resort were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even tried to arrange a taxi for us when ours didn't show up for the airport. Shanghai in the bar is a must-try for his colorful arrack cocktails by the pool. The rooms also have stunning sea views, adding to the overall experience. We also appreciated that they allowed us to stay at the pool after checkout time and provided a shower for us. The location of the resort was convenient, with just a 10-minute walk to the main beach.

One of the standout features of this hotel is the incredible sea view from all rooms. Waking up to the breathtaking panoramic view of the sparkling ocean is simply magical. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, clean, and modern, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. And if you're looking for a bit of relaxation, the jacuzzi bath in the room is the perfect touch.
